Genetiks recommends that all genetic tests, their requests and monitoring of the results are performed in a genetic diagnosis center, under the supervision of medical genetics specialists. The examination of an affected family member (if present) is recommended in the case of unaffected individuals with a strong familial background for the disease.
HOW TO OBTAIN YOUR TEST KIT?
Please first consult your specialist doctor to choose the right test for you!
At least one of the phone or e-mail address fields must be filled before we can send your test kit. Do not forget to choose the test type as determined by your specialist.
Do not forget!
- The collection of blood sample that is required for the test, can be performed in any center.
- No special conditions are required for blood collection (no need for 24 hr fasting etc.)
- Blood samples should be taken into the tubes that are specially prepared for this test and included in the test kit.
